pickmefirstplz replied: "how bald are your tires? if they put them on sale once they will put them on sale again"

goodyear allegra tires p155/80R13? where can i get them ? are they still made and how old are they

gator_06513 replied: "The allegra is a model of Goodyear marketed by Wal-Mart.It should still be available but remember that they are only sold by them and are not sold or warranteed by Goodyear retailers."

ucantcme replied: "COULD NOT FIND THAT BRAND OF TIRE BUT I DID FIND A GOODYEAR ULTRA GRIP P155/80R13 AND IT SELLS FOR $56.78 + TAX AT WAL-MART OR TRY EBAY."

does anybody out there get tired when they take an allegra? I've been taking it for a while and it hasn't made me tired in the past but I think it might be making me tired now. What does everyone think.

Alexis S replied: "maybe it's not one of the non-drowsy meds."

larry_the_orc replied: "Yes, as a side effect it might do this"

Florida Girl replied: "Most allergy meds do make you tired. If this one is not right for you try another. I have had good luck with Singulair. Does not make me tired and I haven't had a bad allergy attack in 2 years."

dsd replied: "I use it when I'm desperate for relief from my allergies. Yes, it does make me very sleepy and almost dizzy like. Sometimes its like you have to fight it to stay awake. Thats not the only medication with that side effect. Most of the allergy medication I use make me sleepy, tired and dizzy. Have yet to find one that can treat my allergies and still keep me awake."

evilkitten7 replied: "sometimes those allergy drugs will make you tired. drowsiness is a side effect of allegra."

ISO gal replied: "No, it doesn't make me drowsy. If it hasn't made you drowsy in the past, it may be something else making you tired. Have you been pretty busy lately? Experiencing more stress or doing more activity than usual? Getting enough sleep? Those may be what's causing your drowsiness. If not, then I'd suggest seeing your doctor."

tony replied: "not me"

karlasobalvarro@sbcglobal.net replied: "I take allegra and i do get very tired and very sleepy i was taking it at work and i felt sooo sleppyyyyy"

Allegra, Allegra D, and Nasacort AQ for a sleep problem? I recently went in for a sleep study because I'm always tired during the day. I usually woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. My doctor sent me to and ear, nose, and throat specialist after the study. The results said I slept fairly good but had a problem with my oxygen saturation, it was about 83%. The specialist said there was something that was keeping me from getting oxygen in my blood. He assumed my breathing was restricted and prescribed a sinus rinse followed by Nasacort AQ twice a day, Allegra D in the morning, and Allegra at night. I have not found any information on any of these drugs that go along with what the doctor told me (or at least what I understood). I was just curious of how this helps my oxygen levels in my blood or if there was some other reason that it seems to be working. I have only been on the medication for about a week but I can't believe how much of a difference it has made (except for feeling crappy and disoriented the first day). I don't go back to the doctor for a few weeks but I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these types of drugs for increasing oxygen levels (if that's what they are really doing). Does anyone have information on this?

AngelWithAnX replied: "Allegra D is an antihistamine which causes the blood vessels to dialate. Basically, the blood vessels open up wider and allow more blood to flow through...more blood equals more oxygen."

is there a way to decrease seasonal allerigies? i've been getting really bad allergies lately, and i take alavert (and sometimes allegra, when i feel like breaking into 2 [don't like swallowing pills]) and it helps temporarily. i have to carry allergy eyedrops with me cuz my eyes will get red too. also i've become mildly allergic to certain fruits. and this morning i woke up with a swollen uvula (the little thing hanging in the back of your throat). i drank plenty of water, so it's fine now. but i'm just really tired of having to deal with my allergies. is there anything i can do to lessen them and make them not so severe??? i'd really appreciate the help and/or experiences from fellow allergy sufferers.

chapaton replied: "I would try something like zyrtec D... it helps the eyes, and lasts 12 hours a dose.... Once you are on it for a couple of days, it works so much better."

fibreglasscar replied: "Shots are available."

Malaris replied: "YES - - this REALLY works - - -purchase honey produced from the area in which you live. Ingest a spoonful each morning before you start the day (perhaps mixing it into a cup of tea or coffee.)"

michaelsmaniacal replied: "Nothing worked for me for years, then I tried Nasalcrom. Its kinda expensive, but one spray bottle lasted me a whole season. good luck."

Samir replied: "I have spring allergies. Trees, pollen, grass, you name it. It all affects me. And about the itchy red eyes, been there. I know how it feels when you just want to break in two. An allergy shot always worked for me. I don't get any more allergic reactions for the next six months. Talk to your doctor about getting one."

Black_ash replied: "yes I did I saw a doctor and he suggested the best meds for me but I am 13 it should be different for you good luck to you and that"

Lulipop replied: "you can treat IT or you can treat the cause. Something in your body isnt doing its job properly. You have an excess mucus build up. You need to fast for a day with plenty of water. Then stay on a raw diet IF you have good digestion. If not then stay away from meat and dairy which cause alot of mucus build up in the intestines. the real cure is an enema. Coffe is my fave but since its probably out of the question for most.... Cleaning out your system took care of my allergies. I dont like to do them all the time so when I dont I take a Homepathic medicine called mold yeast and Dust and it works great. Homeopathic is the best way to go for allergies. Only eat fruits in the morning when your digestion is strongest otherwise you are not helping your condition."

HW replied: "A very popular home remedy is to buy wildflower honey from your area (this is the most difficult part. Try your local farmer's market. For example, if you live in California, buy California Wildflower honey. Hopefully the area is close to yours). Then mix the honey in warm water and add lemon grown in the same area/soil. I take lemon from my backyard. The idea behind this is like immunization. Get your body used to the pollen and you won't be affected by it. That is why you need honey from your area, since you are affected by flowers in your area. This really works, but not completely if your symptoms are too severe. Let's put it this way, I only have minor symptoms and this cured me completely. However, my friend had to get shots every week. Now she does not even need drugs. Every once in a while she had to take an over-the-counter allergy medication, but that's it."

Dr. chen replied: "This website will truly help you."

queenie the big meanie replied: "honey lots of honey helps in the fight of seaonal allergies!!!"

SweetNurse replied: "You need to take something to prevent the allergic reactions rather than cover them up with an allergy pill. The best thing is Tagamet or Pepcid (sold over the counter). It blocks the histamines that cause the allergies. It is the same medicine that people take for acid in their stomach. You won't need to take Benadrl, Alegra, Claratin, Claritin D, Patanol etc. Much cheaper too."

Jaymagiclady replied: "Allergy nasal sprays work really well, and I don't know where you live in the country, but on a windy day, you might wear a face mask, at first I didn't want to for fear of looking like a "weirdo" but they will keep the dust and seasonal stuff out of your throat and nose."

Do you know any natual Allergy remedies? I cannot stop sneezing & my nose is running off my face! My eyes are SO itchy! It all started yesterday out of nowhere. My husband said something is probably blooming here (in Clearwater, FL), and that's why my allergies are going crazy. I have taken Allegra, but it doesn't work! I can't take benedryl b/c it makes me tired and I am in college and have class all day. HELP!

Jay's Cyn replied: "You are not going to believe this,,, my new husband does not either but has agreed to try it,, he has just moved to my area,, and he and his son have allergies.. This worked for me as a young adult,,, my "granny" told me to eat a teaspoon of "locally grown" honey everyday and I would build up a resistance to things that were blooming,,, my eyes use to waters so bad around spring time blooms, that I would have to pull my car over,,, but ever since I started that for like six months I have no more hay fever...something about the bees pollinating locally and you ingesting the blooms you are allergic to.. It worked for me and I believe in it enough to put my loved ones on it,,,,,,,and hey its honey not a bad medicine to put on toast or warm biscuits in the morning.... good luck"

Has anyone ever taken allegra D 12 hour tablets????? Did they make you tired , wired, did they work, any other allergy recommendations??

xo lolip0ps™ ☻♫♥ replied: "yes they worked for me they don't make you very tired or wired and i would also recommend singular or zyrtec"

jrmaurstad replied: "They didn't work for me. No drowsiness or being wired, but for some reason no effect either. I switched to Benadryl which worked great, but until you get used to taking them they will probably cause some drowsiness."

smackdis666 replied: "i have they were way good but i would recommend getting the 24 hour one they work a lot better"

I get SINUS INF. 3-4 TIMES A YEAR,I take clairiton, would SINGULAR HELP taken with the clairiton? A lady friend of ours says she used to get sinus inf a lot but since she's been taking SINGULAR she hasn't had one. ALLEGRA and ZRYTEC both make me super tired like a ZOMBIE. help!!! also LEVAQUIN 500mg is the only antibiotic that KICKS the sinus inf.

Katie replied: "Singular is for asthma. I have never heard of taking it for sinus problems. I take ZRYTEC when i go to bed it lasts for 24 hours but by morning the tiredness has passed but the effectiveness is still working. I take it for Hives, I have hives from an unknown origin."

Laura L replied: "I know what you mean about the zrytec, it knocks me out too. The only things that really helped me was when my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria. you need distilled water sea salt liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store. in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature. add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix. using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down. Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy. The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all. Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time. Then do it once a week for maintenance. There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me. I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore. best wishes"

becks7 replied: "I also need Levaquin, the heavy duty antibiotic when I get a sinus infection. My miracle antibiotic was Tequin till they pulled it from the market. I have chronic sinusitis and have found NeilMed sinus rinse a good effective combative against further sinus problems. But you need to use it regularly. I also take Singulair for basically my asthma, truthfully it's not done much to alleviate the allergic rhinitis. Each medication works differently for people, I found Claritin sedating for me whereas Zyrtec isn't as. I used to get sinus infections every 6-8 weeks till I seen a good ENT who's put me on a great allergy shot schedule, combine that with the rinses and truthfully have been alot better than I was for two years!!"

I have a very bad cold, what should I do? I have phlegm and blood all in my throat and it feels stuck. I feel very nauseated and I have very bad headaches and I feel like if I could just throw up all the cold I would feel better. I have taken Mucinex, DayQuill and Allegra (all every 12 hours, nothing mixed) What should I do?? I'm tired of being sick and ill thank you!

TB replied: "There's no cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are of no use against cold viruses. Over-the-counter cold preparations won't cure a common cold or make it go away any sooner, and most have side effects. Here's a look at the pros and cons of some common cold remedies. * Pain relievers. For fever, sore throat and headache, many people turn to acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) or other mild pain relievers. Keep in mind that acetaminophen can cause liver damage, especially if taken frequently or in larger than recommended doses. Be especially careful when giving acetaminophen to children because the dosing guidelines can be confusing. For instance, the infant-drop formulation is much more concentrated than the syrup commonly used in older children. Never give aspirin to children. It has been associated with Reye's syndrome — a rare but potentially fatal illness. * Decongestant nasal sprays. Adults shouldn't use decongestant drops or sprays for more than a few days because prolonged use can cause chronic inflammation of mucous membranes. And children shouldn't use decongestant drops or sprays at all. There's little evidence that they work in young children, and they may cause side effects. * Cough syrups. In winter, nonprescription cough syrups practically fly off the drugstore shelves. But the American College of Chest Physicians strongly discourages the use of these medications because they're not effective at treating the underlying cause of cough due to colds. Some contain ingredients that may alleviate coughing, but the amounts are too small to do much good and may actually be harmful for children. In fact, the college recommends against using OTC cough syrups or cold medicines for anyone younger than age 14. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) strongly recommends against giving OTC cough and cold medicines to children younger than age 2. Meantime, under an agreement announced by manufacturers in late 2008, several brands of OTC cold and cough medications began carrying a warning that these products should not be used in children under 4. For young children, an accidental overdose could be fatal. Coughs associated with a cold usually last less than two to three weeks. If a cough lingers longer than that, see your doctor. Lifestyle and home remedies You may not be able to cure your common cold, but you can make yourself as comfortable as possible. These tips may help: * Drink lots of fluids. Water, juice, tea and warm soup are all good choices. They help replace fluids lost during mucus production or fever. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, which can cause dehydration, and cigarette smoke, which can aggravate your symptoms. * Try chicken soup. Generations of parents have spooned chicken soup into their sick children. Now scientists have put chicken soup to the test, discovering that it does seem to help relieve cold and flu symptoms in two ways. First, it acts as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the movement of neutrophils — immune system cells that help the body's response to inflammation. Second, it temporarily speeds up the movement of mucus through the nose, helping relieve congestion and limiting the time viruses are in contact with the nasal lining. * Get some rest. If possible, stay home from work if you have a fever or a bad cough, or are drowsy from medications. This will give you a chance to rest as well as reduce the chances that you'll infect others. Wear a mask when you have a cold if you live or work with someone with a chronic disease or compromised immune system. * Adjust your room's temperature and humidity. Keep your room warm, but not overheated. If the air is dry, a cool-mist humidifier or vaporizer can moisten the air and help ease congestion and coughing. Be sure to keep the humidifier clean to prevent the growth of bacteria and molds. * Soothe your throat. Gargling with warm salt water several times a day or drinking warm lemon water with honey may help soothe a sore throat and relieve a cough. * Use saline nasal drops. To help relieve nasal congestion, try saline nasal drops. You can buy these drops over-the-counter, and they're effective, safe and nonirritating, even for children. To use in babies, put several drops into one nostril, then immediately bulb suction that nostril. Repeat the process in the opposite nostril. Doing this before feeding your baby can improve your child's ability to nurse or take a bottle, and before bedtime it may improve sleep. Alternative medicine Alternative therapies probably won't cure your cold, but they may help make you more comfortable by easing your symptoms. Echinacea. Whether taking preparations of the herb echinacea protects you from getting a cold or relieves cold symptoms continues to be debated. While no studies have shown that taking echinacea can prevent you from getting a cold, there is some evidence that it can modestly relieve cold symptoms or shorten the duration of a cold. E"

My husband was stung by a bee on the neck 3 days ago and it is still very swollen and red. HELP!? Right after he was stung, all of the hairs on his body stood on end for about 2 hours. he has been really sleepy and complains that he is not resting well and is very tired. The swelling and redness is all around the area of the sting and down his chest till about his ribcage. He has also had a headache, but not sure if it's related. He took benadryl one day and an allegra the next day. still no change. now what should he do?

King Kong Jr. replied: "Is that what he told You? Ha, ha, ha!"

momof3grmomof1 replied: "anything with anti-histamine. like benedryl sorry bout my bad spelling, i even did spell check (they weren't listed) or take him to the dr, make sure he's breathing normal"

andrea replied: "tack him to the hospital he is having severe allergic reaction"

joane replied: "continue to take benadryl. if it begins to feel as tho he is having a hard time breathing then go to the emergency room."

VICTORIA L replied: "He may be allergic, i would take him to a doctor ASAP"

superrrmodel replied: "I had to take antihistamines for about 4 days for the symptoms to go down but you really should take him to the hospital. The headache can be a symptom as well. Good luck."

gousa1991 replied: "go to the doctor now"

flower replied: "Continue with the Benadryl and have him checked by a doctor. He might need to carry epinephrine, Bee Sting Kit, with him from now on. Next sting could cause worse problems. Sounds like he is having a bad bee sting reaction."

Tatsinda replied: "Take him to the emergency room- he's having a severe allergic reaction. My husband is a landscaper and is stung nearly every day ... the swelling from a sting is usually completely gone over night."

Kunwar Singh replied: "I have been bitten by honeybee many times when I was a small boy and although it is painful, it gets will automatically within few days. In the meantime, you can add little camphor in coconut oil and apply on affected part of your husband thrice a day to get rid of itching, if any. Rub ice on swelling and apply onion juice and papaya pulp also. If you husband is feeling tired and lightheaded and have respiratory problems, seek medical attention immediately without ignoring and wasting time. Bee sting can be fatal also. Take a good care of your husband."

kerilynn replied: "He is definitely having an allergic reaction...go to the E.R. now..."

Melissa, That's me! replied: "Keep the Benadryl going regularly as directed on the box (even in the middle of the night). It sounds like an allergic reaction, and you don't want it to get worse. Call the doctor in the AM and be sure to take him to the ER if he starts complaining of more pain or shortness of breath. Be sure to have the doctor test him for allergies, if it's bad enough they'll precribe him an Eppi pen in case of emergencies."

Mike Mohrmann replied: "I have to agree with Victoria L. on this one, please take her advice and do as she suggests."

Betty L replied: "The best home remedy that I know is. Go to the store a buy chewing tobacco and have your husband put it directly on the bee sting and it will drawn out the poison in it. Good luck and I hope this is affect for you as it was for me. But if it don't get better go to the doctor. But try this first it really does work."
